Trustom Pond Bird Walk
The Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge contains a variety of wildlife habitats and bird species at all seasons of the year, and is especially known for waterfowl in the fall and winter (except when superstorms breach the barrier beach and drain the pond). Kimball naturalist Bob Kenney will lead this walk exploring the refuge’s fields, woods, marshes, and ponds. A spotting scope will be available. Meet in the Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge parking lot.
