Full Moon Paddle
Paddle through one of Rhode Island’s quintessential salt water marshes and discover the wildlife that call it home! Observe Osprey and terrapin turtle nesting sites in this habitat that serves as a filtration system to Narragansett Bay. Great Blue Herons and Snowy Egrets often dot the banks of this tidal marsh. Watch as Osprey dive and pluck fish out the water and see how many creatures of the sea serve as food for our migratory bird population. We will get out along the marsh, stretch our legs, and view the cages of the terrapin turtle’s nests! Beautiful 100 Acre Cove is a place you must visit to understand its importance. Equipment provided by Eastern Mountain Sports is included in the fee.
