Great Swamp Walk

Join Bob Kenney for a springtime walk into the Great Swamp Management Area. Great Swamp’s diverse habitats support a large variety of resident and migrant birds, including rarities now and then! Amphibians and reptiles are also awake after their long winter naps and should be active. We’ll be going in late afternoon because the management area is open for turkey hunting until 1:00 PM. If the weather is bad, we’ll push it off until the next day—Sunday, April 30.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds/Cancellations If you cannot attend a course as planned, you may receive a Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
