Early Morning Breakfast and Birding River Cruise


Join us for a morning river cruise exploring the spring beauty of the Seekonk River. Sip coffee and juice and enjoy delicious baked goodies as we search for wildlife along the river. Participants may wish to bring sunscreen and binoculars. The Explorer is a covered boat and runs rain or shine. Co-sponsored with the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council.

August 5, 2017; 8:00-9:00 am; Program Fee: $20/adult; $15/child. Ages: 7 and up.

*Change of launch site from Festival Pier in Pawtucket to Al’s Waterfront Restaurant in East Providence*

Directions from 95 north and south:

Keep right to take US-6 E (also 195-East) via Exit 20 toward East Providence/Cape Cod

Take the US-44 E exit, EXIT 4, toward Riverside/Taunton Avenue

Keep right to take the ramp toward Riverside

Take first right onto Mauran Avenue

Turn right onto Water Street                 

28 Water Street East Providence is on the left

Park in the lot to the right of the building

The entrance to the dock is on the right hand side of the building

Blackstone Valley Tourism Council and Audubon staff will be in the parking lot to assist with boarding the Explorer.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds/Cancellations If you cannot attend a course as planned, you may receive a Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
