Birding with the Kids
The month of May is the perfect time to get outdoors and try the fastest growing hobby in the country - birding. Bring some binoculars, your favorite field guide and we will look for some common birds to get you started. Explore the wildlife refuge as you learn about using optics, spotting birds and get tips on how to identify them. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed toe shoes.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds/Cancellations If you cannot attend a course as planned, you may receive a Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
