2017 Rhode Island Butterfly Count - No Experience Necessary
Audubon naturalists will lead participants into the field to identify and record butterfly sightings. This event is Audubon's 14th annual survey of butterflies. Bring a snack, water and insect spray. Be sure to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes!

Prudence Island* (10:15am-2:30pm)
What to Bring: a packed lunch/drinks; binoculars (we have extra); comfortable walking shoes. Ferry and Parking: Participants will depart on the 9:45 am ferry out of Bristol, RI arriving on Prudence Island at 10:15 am. Departure from Prudence Island will be at 2:30 pm, returning to Bristol at 3:00 pm. There is a free municipal parking lot in Bristol just south of the intersection of Church Street & Thames Street. Ferry ticket price is not included in the registration and is approximately $11 round trip.
