Citizens Bank Free Family Fun Day

Thanks to the Citizens Bank, the Environmental Education Center is open free to the public the first Saturday of every month. Join us for crafts, nature stories, animal discoveries, hikes and more. No need to register!

April 7, 2018: How Does Your Garden Grow?

It’s time to get your hands dirty! We’re celebrating soil, plants, and gardens today. Stop in for garden themed crafts, games and activities for the whole family. Programs and admission are free thanks to the Citizens Bank.

10:00 am: 2:00 pm – Garden Craft Table

10:30 am: Plant Story Time

11:30 am and 2:30 pm: Guided Nature Walk

11:00 am to 2:00 pm: Soil Testing with URI Master Gardeners

1:00 pm: Flower Dissection – Ever wonder why flowers are so fantastic? We’ll take a look inside to find out!

1:30 pm: Animal Interview
