Shorebird Van Trip

​*(We recommend you do not use GPS). Directions: Take Rt. 95 to Rt. 4 to Rt. 102 north.  Turn right onto Widow Sweets Rd. (just after the Exeter's Town Clerk's office and across from Anderson's Place.)  Take second right onto Pardon Joslin Rd. (a dirt road).  Travel approx. 1 mile. Parking lot is on the right side by a large Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge sign.  


Hop aboard the Audubon van with an expert guide to visit some of Rhode Island's best shorebird locations: Charlestown Breachway, Quonochontaug Breachway and Succotash Marsh. Please bring a lunch, optics, old sneakers or water shoes, towel and bug repellent. Be prepared to get wet up to your waist for this program. Meet at Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge at 7:00 am.

*Departs from Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge, Pardon Joslin Road, Exeter, RI ; August 16, 2018 ; 7:00 am-3:00 pm; Fee: $45/member; $55/non-member. Ages: 14 and up.

Cancellation Policy
If you registered for an outdoor program, please come dressed for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. If we need to cancel or reschedule the program due to the weather or low enrollment, we will contact you prior to the program date. If you cannot attend the course as planned, you may receive an Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control; we will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
