Thanks to Citizens Bank, the Environmental Education Center is open free to the public the first Saturday of every month. Join us for crafts, nature stories, animal discoveries, hikes and more. No need to register.
July 7, 2018: Icky, Squishy, Weird and Wacky Science
Dive in to Audubon’s favorite icky, squishy, weird, and wacky science adventures! Roll up your sleeves as we experiment in the classroom and take a hike in the field. Get ready to squish in slime, study scat and much, much more!
10:00 am – 2:00 pm – Scat and Tracks ID Table
10:00 am-2:00 pm: Wacky Science Craft Table
10:30 am: Squishy Wormy Story Time
11:00 am: Buggy Nature Walk. Bugs aren’t icky but finding them can be tricky! We’ll take a hike to look for some of our favorite insect friends.
1:30 pm: Weird Science Experiments: Things will get a little weird when we make our own eco-friendly slime.
2:00 pm: Animal Interview
