Winter Waterfowl & Seabird Caravan

We're bringing back our traditional Thanksgiving weekend celebration of Mother Nature, a program started by Doug Kraus years ago. From our starting point in Galilee, naturalist Bob Kenney will lead a caravan to the birding hot spots along the South County shore. Recent rarities will also be included in the adventure. Bring your binoculars, and be sure to dress for the weather.

Meet at the Salty Brine State Beach parking lot (between the breachway and George’s restaurant) in Galilee.

Meet at Salty Brine State Beach, 254 Great Island Road, Narragansett, RI; November 24, 2018; 10:00 am-1:00 pm; Program Fee: $10/member adult, $14/non-member adult. Ages: Teen to adult.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds/Cancellations If you cannot attend a course as planned, you may receive a Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year from date of issue. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Cash refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
