Forest Bathing Walk
It is so important to refill your personal fuel tank and find ways to de-stress, rejuvenate and let go of the worries of the day. Many scientific studies tell us that time in nature is key for our physical and mental heath. Americans, on average, spend 93% of their time indoors! Join Audubon for a leisurely walk of shinrin-yok u, or Forest bathing. With its roots in Japan, this walk will encourage you to focus on your physical body and its senses. This will be a walk focused on what are you seeing, smelling and touching; "being" in, rather than "I.D.ing" nature. Please dress for the weather, including long pants and sturdy walking shoes.
