Beeswax Wraps Workshop

Single-use plastics are filling up our oceans and landfills. Be part of the solution by making your own re-usable, eco-friendly lunch wraps! With cotton fabric, beeswax, buttons and string, create a flexible wrap to transport food, cover bowls and protect your leftovers. It's washable, keeps your foods fresh and it smells great. No prior sewing or crafting skills needed. All materials will be provided to make two wraps per person. If you have a favorite fabric or button you would like to use, bring it along! Skip the plastic wrap and sandwich bags- use your sustainable and stylish beeswax wrap instead.

Cancellation Policy

If you registered for an outdoor program, please come dressed for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. If we need to cancel or reschedule the program due to the weather or low enrollment, we will contact you prior to the program date. If you cannot attend the course as planned, you may receive an Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control; we will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy. The Registration convenience fee of $1.50 helps to offset credit card processing fees and is non-refundable.
