Felted Bird Houses

Create your own beautiful birdhouse using colorful wool in this two-session workshop. Participants will join Audubon educator and fiber artist Tala Wunderler-Selby to learn the traditional art of wet felting, using sheep’s wool, water, soap, and a little elbow grease. Design your birdhouse in a rainbow of colors or in natural hues, and then create a three-dimensional vessel. Hang your house outdoors or place it inside for a unique decoration.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES • Audubon reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, and instructors when necessary. • If Audubon cancels a program due to low enrollment or bad weather, you will be given a full refund within 30 days. • If Audubon postpones and reschedules a program due to weather or other unforeseen circumstance, refunds will not be issued unless you make a specific request via email to msolis@asri.org. This refund will be minus the on-line registration convenience fee. • If you cannot attend a program and wish to obtain a refund, you must inform Audubon in an email to msolis@asri.org, at least 7 days prior to the first class meeting. This refund will be minus the on-line registration convenience fee. • If you cancel less than 7 days in advance, you are not entitled to a refund. The registration fee will be considered a donation to Audubon. • If you do not show up for a program, you are not entitled to a refund.
