Woodcocks and Wine- CANCELLED

Join Audubon for an evening adventure in the fields of Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge to observe the enchanting flight patterns of the American Woodcock. Begin with a wine sampling and a presentation of fascinating facts about these unusual birds. Afterwards, head out on a hike to observe the Woodcock display. Be warned, spring peepers or even a coyote might serenade you! Participants must be at least 21 years old. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. Meet in the Nature Center. Advance registration is required.

*Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge, Pardon Joslin Road, Exeter, RI; April 9, 2020; 6:30-8:30 pm; Fee: $20/member; $25/non-member. Ages: 21 and up.

*Directions: Take Rt. 95 to Rt. 4 to Rt. 102 north. Turn right onto Widow Sweets Rd. (just after the Exeter's Town Clerk's office and across from Anderson's Place.) Take second right onto Pardon Joslin Rd. (a dirt road). Travel approx. 1 mile. Parking lot is on the right side by a large Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge sign.

Cancellation Policy

Full Refunds will be given if Audubon cancels a class. Audubon reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. Audubon will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control; we will make every effort to reschedule such classes. If you cannot attend a program as planned, you will be refunded the registration cost minus the convenience fees. To obtain a refund, you must inform Audubon in writing via email, 7 days prior to the (first) class meeting. Contact email address is listed for each program. Cancellations within 7 days will not be entitled to a refund. No-shows will not be refunded and the registration fee will be considered a donation to Audubon. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
