Build Your Own Bird House  


You can help bluebirds and other cavity-nesting birds survive in your area by providing them with a nesting box to use. Come learn about bluebirds and other cavity nesters, when and where to place the nest box, and how to care for it. Each child registrant will get one kit to complete. All building materials are provided in each kit, but participants should bring safety glasses for each builder.

Face masks and social distancing are required. Participants must bring their own masks. All attendees must register.

Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge, 12 Sanderson Road, Smithfield, RI; April 23, 2021; 2:00-3:30 pm; Fee: $30/member child (bird house kit); $40/non-member child (bird house kit). Ages: 7 and up.

Cancellation Policy
Full Refunds will be given if Audubon cancels a class. Audubon reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. Audubon will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Audubon will make every effort to reschedule such classes. If you cannot attend a program as planned, you will be refunded the registration cost minus the convenience fees. To obtain a refund, you must inform Audubon in writing via email, 7 days prior to the (first) class meeting. Contact email address is listed for each program. Cancellations within 7 days will not be entitled to a refund. No-shows will not be refunded and the registration fee will be considered a donation to Audubon. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see program description for each policy.
