The Power of One: Conscious Choices to Save Birds

Join Audubon Director of Avian Research Dr. Charles Clarkson and discover ways to help protect vulnerable and declining bird populations with purchasing power. From "bird friendly" coffee to sustainable seafood, many of our choices can have indirect impacts on wild bird populations. Learn which labels to look for when shopping and how your choices at the market have far-reaching impacts. We all have the power to help our feathered friends, come learn how to become a bird ambassador in ways you may not have imagined.

Masks are required during indoor programs and van trips for those who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19, including children.

Cancellation Policy

Full Refunds will be given if Audubon cancels a class. Audubon reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. Audubon will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Audubon will make every effort to reschedule such classes. If you cannot attend a program as planned, you will be refunded the registration cost minus the convenience fees. To obtain a refund, you must inform Audubon in writing via email, 7 days prior to the (first) class meeting. Contact email address is listed for each program. Cancellations within 7 days will not be entitled to a refund. No-shows will not be refunded and the registration fee will be considered a donation to Audubon. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see program description for each policy.
