Birding for Kids
An Audubon Naturalist will share basic birding skills with kids. Families will learn to identify local year-round birds and a few migratory species through sight and sound, as well as how to use binoculars, field guides, and phone apps. Explore the trails of Caratunk and discover the world of birding! Dress for the weather and bring a mask. Binoculars will be available to borrow during the program. Parents must accompany children.

Cancellation Policy

Full Refunds will be given if Audubon cancels a class. Audubon reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. Audubon will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Audubon will make every effort to reschedule such classes. If you cannot attend a program as planned, you will be refunded the registration cost minus the convenience fees. To obtain a refund, you must inform Audubon in writing via email, 7 days prior to the (first) class meeting. Contact email address is listed for each program. Cancellations within 7 days will not be entitled to a refund. No-shows will not be refunded and the registration fee will be considered a donation to Audubon. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see program description for each policy.
