Maxwell Mays Art Studio

Four-week Sessions

Come to the Maxwell Mays Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday mornings in the summer for walks and watercolor painting. Meet at the parking lot at 9:30 am, then settle in at the studio before you head out on a short walk. Painting begins at 10:00! A new watercolor technique will be explored each week and put into practice with a seasonal theme. At the end of each series an 11”x14" matted painting will be ready to frame! All materials and morning coffee / tea provided.

Fee for 4-week session: $140/member, $150/non-member. Ages: Adult.

Cancellation Policy

Full Refunds will be given if Audubon cancels a class. Audubon reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. Audubon will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Audubon will make every effort to reschedule such classes. If you cannot attend a program as planned, you will be refunded the registration cost minus the convenience fees. To obtain a refund, you must inform Audubon in writing via email, 7 days prior to the (first) class meeting. Contact email address is listed for each program. Cancellations within 7 days will not be entitled to a refund. No-shows will not be refunded and the registration fee will be considered a donation to Audubon. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see program description for each policy.
