Junior Naturalists

Join other home-schooled kids to learn about nature and science. This program will introduce participants to a different topic each class, with hands-on experiments and nature-based activities that are sure to foster a love of the natural world. Classes are limited to 15 children, so please register early. Adult must attend with child.

February 13 and 14, 2018: Seals, Sea Lions and Conservation

March 13 and 14, 2018: Shark Science

April 17 and 18. 2018: Eco-Engineers

May 15 and 16, 2018: Water and Wetlands

June 12 and 13, 2018: Science at the Shore

Audubon Environmental Education Center, 1401 Hope Street, Bristol, RI; 1:30-3:00 pm; Program fee: $10/member child, $6/member siblings; $12/non-member child, $8/non-member siblings. Ages: 6-12.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds/Cancellations If you cannot attend a course as planned, you may receive a Audubon Society of Rhode Island (ASRI) course credit. You must inform ASRI in writing or email, 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. Credits may be applied toward any future ASRI course within the next year. Cancellations within 7 business days are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. Certain courses are non-transferable and are indicated in course description. Refunds are given only if ASRI cancels a class. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
