March Madness on Prudence Island
Spend the entire day exploring Prudence Island: observe beautiful winter ducks to basking harbor seals and explore wide expanses of salt marshes and protected beaches. We will make several stops throughout the day and take some short walks to observe the many habitats that make up this gem in the middle of the Bay.
What to Bring: lunch/drinks for the day; binoculars (we'll have extra to share); warm clothing and comfortable footwear. Registration is required due to limited van space. Ferry ticket is not included in the price and is approximately $12 round trip/adult and $6/child. You will depart on the 9:45 am ferry from Bristol, arriving on Prudence at 10:15 am; the return trip will depart Prudence at 4:15pm and arrive in Bristol at 4:45pm.
