Ocean Wonders
Thanks to Citizens Bank, the Environmental Education Center is open free to the public the first Saturday of every month. Join us for crafts, nature stories, animal discoveries, hikes and more. No need to register.

August 4, 2018: Ocean Wonders

Come for a day dedicated to one of our favorite local habitats – the ocean! Learn about different animals that live in our local ocean waters, meet some live tidepool critters, and trek down to the seashore to explore.

10:00 am- 2:00 pm: Ocean Craft Table

10:00 am- 2:00 pm: Ocean Biofact Table. Investigate shells, crab exoskeletons, whelk eggs, and more!

10:30 am: Shore Hike. Take a guided walk to the seashore and use nets and buckets to look for sea life. Come dressed in sturdy shoes that can get wet, wear sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.

1:30 pm: Ocean Story Time

2:00 pm: Animal Interview: Tidepool Critters
