Spring Warbler Workshop

This two-part class combines a warbler identification workshop at Fisherville Brook with a field visit to Rome Point. Join Audubon birding expert Laura Carberry for a presentation on how to identify spring warblers that visit Rhode Island then take those skills out into the field and view the birds wintering in our area. Please bring binoculars and dress for the weather.

*Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge, Pardon Joslin Road, Exeter, RI; May 2, 2019; 6:30-7:30 pm. (We recommend you do not use GPS).

*Directions: Take Rt. 95 to Rt. 4 to Rt. 102 north. Turn right onto Widow Sweets Rd. (just after the Exeter's Town Clerk's office and across from Anderson's Place.) Take second right onto Pardon Joslin Rd. (a dirt road). Travel approx. 1 mile. Parking lot is on the right side by a large Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge sign.

Fee: $30/member; $40/non-member. Ages: 16 and up.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will be given only if ASRI cancels a class. We will refund the registration cost minus the convenience fee. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the canceled class. ASRI reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. ASRI will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control; we will make every effort to reschedule such classes. If you cannot attend a program as planned, and wish to obtain a refund, you must inform ASRI in writing via email, 7 days prior to the (first) class meeting. Cancellations within 7 days will not be entitled to a refund. No-shows will not be refunded and the registration fee will be considered a donation to ASRI. Travel Programs and overnight programs each have separate cancellation policies, see course description for each policy.
