Cape Ann Winter Birding Van Trip
Cape Ann, Massachusetts, is a historic fishing community, known for a great diversity of wintering sea birds. Razorbills, Dovekies, murres, guillemots, white-winged gulls, and other such species have been spotted in the past. Join Audubon volunteer Don Heitzmann for a day of exploring Cape Ann hotspots including Gloucester Harbor, Eastern Point, Andrews and Halibut Points, and others. Dress very warmly for brisk winter seacoast weather; bring lunch and optics, including a scope if you have one. We will stop for picnic-style lunch at scenic Rockport harbor.
Registered participants will be contacted in the case of poor weather or unsafe road conditions that would cancel the program.
