4. WHERE SHOULD I GO?
- Please limit your range to within 10 miles of your home.
- Watch from your window, bird from your hammock, walk around the neighborhood, or travel down the road to an Audubon Wildlife Refuge.
5. BIG DAYS COMPETITION DATES
- You have a total of 24 hours to look for birds.
- Those birding hours must take place between May 3 to May 17, 2020.
- Your Big Days list of species must be received by Audubon no later than Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Please email list to lcarberry@asri.org.
6. BIRDING ETHICS
v Bird species must be conclusively identified by sight or sound.
v You may not intentionally flush birds or otherwise participate in unethical behavior
while participating in any Audubon event.
v If you know the nesting site of any species, you may not approach the nest within
flushing distance.
v Participants are on their honor when reporting sightings of birds.
v Electronic or recorded birdcalls may not be used.
v You are encouraged to contribute your data to Cornell Laboratory’s Ebird ri

7. SAFETY
