Responsibility Bird Monitoring Training Session #1

Beginning this spring, we will commence monitoring birds across Audubon Wildlife Refuges. Your participation is needed!

Sign-up today to attend one of the training sessions where data collection protocol will be discussed for all 9 of our “Responsibility Birds” (the alternate date is Thursday, April 27.) 

Through monitoring our “Responsibility Birds”, Audubon hopes to determine the current health and needs of these species and create efficient management plans across our properties that will mitigate the declining trends we are currently witnessing throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic.

Data collected by volunteers will be essential to the success of this project, as we hope to gain a wealth of information on these birds and, without volunteer assistance, we will never be able to collect the amount of data necessary.
