Osprey Monitor Training
Two Dates Offered
Are you interested in helping Audubon research the ecology of Osprey in Rhode Island? Join our team and become part of a research initiative that has been ongoing since 1977! Each summer, Audubon volunteers collect data on the locations and breeding habits of every Osprey nest in Rhode Island to monitor the population of these amazing birds. Join a virtual training workshop for volunteers and learn the natural history of Osprey, how to monitor a nest, submit data, and more. Held virtually over Zoom, registrants will receive a meeting invitation 24 hours prior to the workshop.
Virtual Program. March 13, 27, 2024; 7:00-8:30 pm; Free. Ages: 16 and up.
